Third-graders to take high-stakes reading test in March
Third-grade students throughout Indiana will be taking a high-stakes reading test in March. Known as IREAD3, an acronym that stands for Indiana Reading Evaluation and Determination, the test is a must-pass for third-graders.

Registration for half-day and full-day kindergarten starts Feb. 21
Kindergarten registration for the 2012-13 school year will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday, February 21-24, and Monday, February 27, at each elementary school. Children are to be registered at the school they will attend, but those who will attend Promise Road Elementary School are to register at Stony Creek.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 21. That's the day the Harlem Wizards bring their high-energy basketball to Noblesville to play a fast-paced, humorous game against Noblesville Schools' principals and teachers. Three schools receive state's 4 Star status
Hazel Dell and Hinkle Creek Elementary schools, along with the former Forest Hill Elementary School, have been named Four Star Schools by the Indiana Department of Education.

Yearbook Orders
It's time to order your 2011-2012 yearbook. The cost is $12.00 per yearbook and order forms are available in the office. School yearbooks help provide memories that you can enjoy for many years to come. This year's yearbook... all in color... will feature class, faculty, and staff pictures as well as numerous special activities and group pictures.

Early Dismissal Days
Noblesville Schools releases students early so that staff members can have additional time to learn about teaching strategies, to review student data, and to plan for improvements to be made in our school. Students will be dismissed at 2:55 p.m. on the following dates.
